Most people in the world are dreaming about their life partner and after that, they dreamed about the wedding day. It is the same not only for the ordinary couple but also for gay couples. But when it comes to a gay couple they have to face lots of problems and difficulties since it is illegitimate in most countries. In such a scenario, what if a gay couple can become the first same-sex couple in the history of their born country. Sharni and Robyn were able to change the history in Northern Ireland.

After spending 6 years together they both decided to register their partnership yesterday, February 11. But with the legalization of same-sex marriage in Northern Ireland, they decided to get a beautiful wedding on the same date. They tied the knot at a hotel in Carrickfergus town in County Antrim. And, the couple danced their first dance to Nathan Sykes and Ariana Grande’s Over and Over Again.

When they call back their memories first they met in a night club in 2014. They became engaged in 2015 during a trip to Paris. With the light of this legalization they both wanted to marriage even they originally planned for civil partnership. Sharni and Robyn went to the registrar’s office in Carrickfergus town to register their big day.

Since this is new to Ireland they are thanking for the people who stayed with them as “We are so thankful for the Love Equality campaigners for fighting for us, if it wasn’t for their hard work and effort, we wouldn’t be in this position now.”

We Give our best wishes for Sharni and Robyn as well as you do..
