‘Invisible’ House Made Out Of Mirrors

If you are living in a typical house or apartment for a long time, life may be boring. So what you do is adding or change the layout inside or outside of the house. Doug Aitken, an artist who thinks out of the box, was able to create an invisible house, namely Mirage Gstaad.

Instead of using bricks or woods, he used mirrors to construct the house.  Since this house is located in Gstaad, Switzerland, the walls are filled with the beautiful sceneries in the surround. Moreover, the angular interior has a kaleidoscopic effect that bends light and creates unexpected reflections. This house will remain in the Alps for two years while “reflecting and interacting with the mountain landscape over the changing seasons.”
