Have you ever let a stranger kiss you? Johanna Siring, a New York-based Norwegian photographer, tries to work on humans who are unfamiliar to her. She captured the moment of happiness or excitement after unexpectedly kissing a person. Since she loves to meet new people and collect memories, these portraits add colurs to her life.
In each revealing pair of pictures, photographer Johanna Siring captures portraits before and after kissing a stranger.
She took photos of total strangers before and after kissing them. In order to start this series, she first asks them to pose for a picture. Then she explains her project and requesting a chance for a kiss. If the person agrees to the request, they both kissing and Siring would immediately capture his or her post-smooch expression.
Siring expressed as, “Some would give me a quick kiss and then die of laughter afterward, while some went straight for making out. The most interesting part was that I kind of felt that I knew them a little bit after the kiss, and I think this feeling is reflected in the second portrait.”
