It is a shocking moment if you heard the word called “Cancer”. What if doctors reveal that you are suffering from it? And even the same pain you get when you heard one of your family members or closest one is having this as same as you. This story is about a sister whose world is her little brother.
As same as the, all sisters Aubrey loves her brother Beckett Burge who is younger than 14 months to her. At the age of Two, the doctors diagnosed that this little man running with a blood censer called lymphoblastic leukemia. Even Aubrey is a kid, she’s taking care of her brother as a grown mother while bringing tears to eyes of everyone know this pathetic story of them. Her mother took a picture of them where she’s comforting his bother leans over the toilet which shows the unconditional love that she has towards her brother. She is rubbing his back and offering assistance and encouragement while giving the silent message of he is not alone.
Despite her age, Aubrey plays the role of a matured big sister while becoming a best friend to her brother. Even though the kids at her age paly games outside she preferred to take care of her brother instead of playing open-air with others. “When I see them together, it makes me happy but at the same time, it makes me sad. They have an incredible bond. To this day, they are closer, she always takes care of him. She wasn’t sure what was happening, all she knew was that something was wrong with her brother, her best friend.”, Kaitlin; mother says about the children.
Burge was able to celebrate his sister’s 5th birthday in the home where he shows the strength of family support is essential in every hard time. He has to get treatments for the next two years. But, surely, it will not be tough since he having a family with sweet little loving sister by his side at all times.
